Meet the RPS Staff
Stephen W. Buckley, Ph.D.
Dr. Buckley received his doctorate in Developmental Psychology from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, Yeshiva University: Albert Einstein College of Medicine campus, Bronx, NY. While at Yeshiva, Dr. Buckley published multiple research studies in psychophysiological processes in infant/child development for The Ross Products Division of Abbott Laboratories. Previously, Dr. Buckley graduated magna cum laude from Columbia University, NY, with a Master's Degree in Developmental Psychology. Dr. Buckley received his bachelor's degree in General Psychology, graduating cum laude from Iona College in New Rochelle, NY.
Dr. Buckley became a licensed psychologist in 1999, and has worked with the chronically ill psychiatric population, inpatient substance abuse population, and has maintained an outpatient private practice for the past thirteen years. Dr. Buckley is currently on staff at Yeshiva University as a Clinical Supervisor of graduate students preparing for licensure, and is also presently an adjunct professor of psychology at Ramapo College of New Jersey; previously holding position of adjunct professor of psychology at Domican College.
Dr. Buckley is a certified HRV Biofeedback specialist, trained by the HeartMath Institute in Boulder Creek, CA. HRV Biofeedback is used to treat a range of conditions in children, adolescents and adults. Please click tab to the left for more information.
Dr. Buckley provides cognitive behavioral therapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples and the elderly, in both individual and group treatment. Dr. Buckley specializes in the treatment of psychological trauma: specifically physical and sexual abuse; as well as treating biploar disorder, addiction and the more profound thought disorder symptoms associated with schizophrenia.

Lisa Scheiner, Psy.D.
Dr. Scheiner received a Psy.D. in Clinical Child Psychology from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University: Albert Einstein College of Medicine Campus, Bronx, New York. She also possesses a Masters in School Psychology from St. John's University in Queens, New York. Dr. Scheiner graduated with a double major in Psychology/Communication Arts from Oswego College where she earned her B.A. degree.
Dr. Scheiner became a licensed psychologist in 1999 and has worked as a School Psychologist both for the NYC Board of Education and the North Rockland Central School District for the last 15 years.
Dr. Scheiner provides cognitive behavior therapy to children, adolescents and adults, and she administers psycho-educational assessments for students of all ages. Dr. Scheiner specializes in treating children of divorce and addressing school and social issues of childhood and adolescence.
